Hi,

We experianced this issue recently. When I open Undeliverable message (sent
from System Administrator" Outlook freezes.. It tries to connect Mail servers
(which are on our Root domain or other child domain)!!

On our domain we do have Postmaster account. Our mail server is in Child
domain.
I suspect somehow its looking at Postmaster account on Root or other Child
domain.

Any idea why this should happen?

Thanks,

Sares

Does this happen with all versions of Outlook? What about OWA? Are you using
cached mode in Outlook? This really sounds more like a client issue than a
server one, to me.

Thanks for reply.
This happens for ALL Outlook (2000/2003) clients. We don't use cache mode on
OL2k3. User can delete message using OWA now, but that is a workaround now.

How can we prevent our server, to request data from remote Exchange servers
when NDR messages are accessed. We do have postmaster in our domain.

Thanks again,

Sares
