Hi gurus

I need to renamea mailbox, here is the deal, I created a user
***@mycompany.com well fare enought I missspell the user's name but there is
already a mailbox with abc name on it nad with all the emails, I need to
change the email addres which I already did, but I dont know how to re-name
the mailbox to reflect the the new name with all the user's email, I did
change the alias but dont know if this correct, also how do I do to reflect
this changes on our company catalog.

In ADUC right click the user and select rename.

In ADUC right click the user and select rename.
Yes, and make sure the email address(es) are correct. If you also use home
directories or roaming profiles you will need to rename those folders as
well. And if the user has already opened Outlook once with the misspelling,
you will need them to change the mail profile (control panel | mail) to
modify the Exchange mailbox...let it redetect the mailbox name.
