Dear Exchange guru out there. Recently I got an Apple iPhone and would
like to connect to our corporate email - Microsoft Exchange 2000.
Currently, we have the Outlook Web Access available thru Internet
Explorer. How do I enable the secure IMAP and/or secure POP at our OWA
server(Internet facing interface) so I can securely connect my iPhone
using the secure IMAP tunnel?

Thanks,

M.

For iPhone you will need to use IMAP but its limited compared to EAS. You
can only get email and its pull only. Are you considering upgrading to
Exchange 2007 at some point? iPhone will have an update out in June that
will support Exchange Active Sync.

We are planning to upgrade our Exchange 2000 to 2007 perhaps in 6 months
or so but at this moment I have to get IMAPS to work even with pull
method only. If you have any decent docs, please post or email.

Thanks.
