Discussion:
Deleting phantom public folder calendar

We have a calendar in a training folder that no one can access, and can only
be seen by mailboxes on a few of our servers.

pfdavadmin doesn't see the calendar on any of my replicas.

When a user tries to access the calendar, right click and select Properties,
or delete it, they get errors. Cannot display information", "Cannot display
properties" and :Cannot delete folder"

I thought I'd just pop into ADSIEdit and delete the calendar, but I cannot
find it.

I can find the parent folder, but not the calender itself.

Same in ADUC.

What can I do?

Thanks

Karl

maybe if you grant yourself ownership to the parent folder, via pfdavadmin,
then propagate the permissions, that would work?

is anyone listed as the "contact" or "owner" on the folder, when you look at
the properties?

Hello Susan,

No one, including Exchange Org Admins can see properties.

I am on Exchange 2007, but last night I got to thinking that I should connect
via a test mailbox on 2000 and see if I can manage it - so I'm off to do
that.
